National Museun of Egyptian Civilization, Citadel, & Coptic Cairo
After breakfast the tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your full day tour visiting the The Citadel of Saladin which was constructed by Saladin in the year 1176 A.D to protect Egypt against the crusade invasion. Proceed to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to enjoy watching the collection of the mummies of the ancient Egyptian kings and queens. The museum houses 22 mummies on total including the mummies of the famous king Ramsses the Second and Queen Hatshepsut and many others. In addition, the museum has many master piece from different period of the Egyptian history starting from the prehistory till the modern times such as the water and shadow clocks, the weights & balances, surgery tools, the section of Sen Nejem the Supervisor of the royal construction during the time of King Ramnsses the Second and a lot more.
